Garden Marker Making

Service Description

Join Gin Scott and learn to roll out your own slab, then use patterns, cutters or free hand design to make basic marker shapes. Then add the names of your favorite plants and embellish with stamps to add a little whimsy to your garden! You will paint each marker with underglaze colors and leave your work in the studio to dry and be bisque fired. Staff will add a clear glaze to the front of each marker before the final firing. Markers will be ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after class. Participants can anticipate making up to 10 garden markers as time allows, so please bring a list of plant names with you to class. This workshop meets Saturday, April 5th from 2-4pm. The fee for the workshop is $60.
